You have to get dressed in front of a fan. I poured some talc into my hands this morning without considering the effect of being 2cms in front of a fan whilst pouring a handful of talc. You can imagine...
Here is some cooling green.
This is the pin board in my office, I love looking at it, it helps relieve stress. It works. I have been collecting the cards and postcards on here since I was little. Some are from places I have visited,
some are vintage, some were given to me by friends and some are the cards I buy after visiting an exhibition and have fallen in love with a particular painting and wanted to take it home with me
but only have a dollar.

Green is totally under rated. When I first met my art lecturer when studying teaching I was very excited, but extremely bored and freaked out by the rest of the other lecturers compared to those at art college, Anyway the groovy art (teacher)lecturer put out there to bring to the first lecture, a drawing or a photo of something green. I look at green things and think of her all the time. I took a photo of the exit sign above the door in the lecture studio.
Green had always been my favourite colour. I wonder what was behind her asking you to all bring in something green? It is meant to be a colour that is restful and induces calm. I like what you did with the exit sign! I too found my art lecturers most entertaining and interesting, even the guy who taught business and communications, a subject that I dreaded, turned out to be hilarious and fascinating so I ended up loving it. He wore a bow tie every day!
Seeing your blog I know you would love my sister's shop at Mt Tamborine - Vintage Frills - lets go for a drive up there some day soon, and escape the heat!
