sunshine on the window makes me happy

sunshine on my window by liza lukatova via 500px, via hanna niemenmaa
just a little line from a spiderbait song...
Brisbane is so sunny and gorgeous this weekend and after having some really rotten weather for a week or so you really appreciate a bit of sun.

Here's some sunshine on the window via pinterest...

oooh the blues

party blue
jump in blue

moody blue
blue bottles
soft blue
holiday blue
dancing blue
loud blue
fancy blue
no longer blue

do you have a song that makes you instant happy?
"Ooh {The Blues}" by the Scissor Sisters does it for me.
It makes me want to put on my dancing shoes {if I had a pair}.
I found all of these beautiful blues at pinterest

the dance of the sugar plum fairy

If you ever danced as a little girl or went to the ballet at christmas you will appreciate the christmassy magic this music conjures up! Beautiful photographs in this film below!

icy poles!

This weather is too hot already and there are some tempers in our house that need cooling down!
I have found an inexhaustible source of inspiration on pinterest
Some healthy, some not healthy, some for kids and some for adults only. We are making vanilla yogurt with fresh blue berries tonight, I will let you know how they turn out.

{lots more delicious looking poptails here ➡ endless poptails from endless simmer such as
  bloody mary, white sangria and bourbon butterscotch latte just to get you started}
oh my goodness they all look marvellous... I guess you could very easily make kid friendly
versions by omitting the alcohol.

and finally...

do you have a favourite concoction for me to try?
